Engaging your audience: Jamie Oliver's Ministry of Food

I love cooking! I love food! And I love great ideas!
I'm always thinking of ways of engaging my clients in everything that I'm doing. This whole new website was created in an effort to interact with you, whether you're a client, friend or even the competition. I think that the more we learn together, the better this Wedding Industry becomes.
My good friend and web Diva, Alex, always tells me that you can only get something out of this crazy web driven world if you're willing to give something away. Like Knowledge.
So last night as I was doing some Web Research, I came accross this website by Jamie Oliver. I LOVE that man! He's the Bono of food and cooking shows! And he's so cute!
But he's doing something that no one has done before. He's created a website and "Ministry" to help his country to cook better food and lead a healthier life.
The challenge is to PASS IT ON. You learn how to cook and then you teach two people, who then each teach two and so it goes.
Isn't that cool? I think of how my mom taught me to cook and I have two little ones that I can pass that onto. But Jamie takes it to the national level! If you go to YouTube and type in "Ministry of Food", you'll see that Jamie has been devoting months of his time helping people to cook better...
He's engaging his audience and giving away his knowledge. What are they doing? Learning how to cook and telling the whole world about Jamie Oliver! Yes, they're also buying his books!
Brilliant.
I invite you to go to the website now, watch his video and sign up! Learn and PASS IT ON!
Then I want you to come back here and Comment!
Here's the website: http://www.jamiesministryoffood.com/content/jo/home.html
And don't you forget to come back here and let me know that you did it! Or that you at least looked at it!
