A good friend of mine always tells me: "Be intentional in all you do."  He says that everything looks better when done intentionally.

My dear beautiful bride, Mara, knows that.

From the details in her decorations, to the colours of the dresses, and the words in her ceremony, she is that: intentional.

No detail was missed, no words were minced, and no smiles missed when she looked at Ryan.  She might have felt self conscious of the camera, but when she looked at him, she was lovingly intentional...

And what a glorious day it was!  The Sun showed up and the Wind was glorious!  This is the part where I apologize profusely for being so in love with windy days and gorgeous couples walking about with veils tossed in the wind and carefree smiles... (I'm such a poet!!!)   The wind was no match for these two's disposition!  And I loved that we went for a walk in the woods by your house, Mara and Ryan, where you guys take Sugar (their puppy) for a walk all the time!  These are some great memories indeed!

Ok, enough chit-chat! Here's the images!  Be sure to watch the video at the end of this post.

I loved Mara's shoes!  She made it through the whole day with them on! That's style!  And the veil! Oooooh, the veil!!!

Mara were her grandmother's green ring from Honk  Kong, for her "something borrowed".  I love that ring!

One of my favorite moments of the day is the very first look... When the couple agrees to have their pictures taken before the ceremony, I want to make sure that I see their "first look" at each other...  They get a bonus when deciding that because they get time alone, which they wouldn't have otherwise...

For their time alone we went to the "forest" right by their house.  The aspens were still quite bare, but they provided a little shelter from the wind and helped to create great memories...

When I was editing these images, my cousin said that this one below was her favorite.  She called it the "When Harry Met Sally" shot... Relaxed and slightly windy... And no kissing on this one.. ;)

The boys didn't have their hairdo's to worry about, so we stayed outside quite a bit...

Here she is again, stunning!

And I really hope that I can take credit for this contagious laugh, but I have a feeling it must have been something Keith said... He was so funny!  I didn't know an accountant could be so darn funny! ;)

Did I mention to you that I LOVED Mara's veil?

These two are some of my absolute favorite shots of you, Mara!!

Here's that great laugh again!

The girls were a lot of fun too, and they had a lot of great ideas, like this one by the lamppost...

We headed back to The Gates, where the ceremony and reception were to happen, and headed upstairs for the Bedeck-en.   In an impromptu-intentional moment, Mara asked one of her best-friends, Naomi to read the Ketubah for all of us.  Naomi read the Hebrew and then English parts and we all teared-up!  So gorgeous!

Here's the details of this very classy wedding!

Venue: The Gates on Roblin

Flowers: Floral Elements

Cake: The very decadent and amazingly talented Doug from Chocolate Zen

Gown: Alfred Sung

Hair: Mandy Pfeffer

 And here's the video!

And for all of you that made it through this post, here's a little bonus image, that I absolutely adore!

Thank you Mara and Ryan for picking me!!!  I hope I did justice to the marvelous event that was your wedding... I loved the words in your ceremony and all of the very beautiful traditions that you both incorporated in it.  May your life be filled with joy and blessings in everything that you do!

(And ooooh, have a wonderful time in Santorini! Sorry that I can't come with you this time, but maybe next time???  )
