The music in the end of the video is by Sierra Noble, our very own Winnipeg (FANTASTIC!) Artist!
Wow, I didn't' think I was going to make it! All this nice weather, all of this Folklorama craze and I actually didn't work every night till 2am, so my apologies Scott & Shannon for the delay! But frankly, if I were walking the banks of the Seine River, or shopping at Champs-Élysées, I wouldn't really care either...
However, I couldn't wait to show you all of these gorgeous images that we captured!
I had the privilege of photographing Shannon when she was a bridesmaid for her cousin Cheryl Deans (or Geraldine, as I like to call her), and of course Geraldine was much too happy to refer her to me! As if that wasn't enough, Chris & Tanya also referred her to me (I know, you're thinking: again? But yes, it's the third couple that they referred to me this year!)
All of this, only to find out during our first consultation, that Scott is related to my sister in law, Krista Boge! What a small, small world...
What strikes me about Shannon & Scott is that they are one of those romantic couples that you will catch giving a knowing glance across the room, without the need for words... They don't need to be overly publicly affectionate in order to convey their undying love for each other... They'll be the couple that you see walking hand in hand in the park when they're 80 years old... That's just who they are...
One look and you see it all.
You also see, undoubtedly, that Shannon is absolutely stunning! Her height, her dancer physique and posture... Just a gift to photograph!
Scott, you're not so bad yourself, if I must say and all my readers will agree.
I'm just a lucky girl that crossed your paths one day and happened to capture your beautiful story.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
And onto some images:
Shannon is a dancer (which is another connection we have - she knows Robert & Lori, my brother and sister in law!) so this was very appropriate:

The bouquet had a locket with her grandparent's pictures on it. I never thought of Hydrangeas and Roses together... did you? Beautiful work, Irene!!!

I love this series here:

Shannon, I think you need a big one of the one on the right in your house...

Great dip, Scott! One of the better ones yet! Are you a dancer too?

I love candids...

Girls, from left to right:
Tracy, Tej, Shannon, Louise, Geraldine:

Beautiful:

I LOVE FOLIAGE:

Didn't I tell you they have that little something???

I dare you to take a picture at The Leo Mol Gardens and NOT get a naked statue in the shot... I dare you!!!

Here's the boys, prepared for the rain that never came:
Left to right: Johnny, Jay, Scott, Chris and Peter.

And now, my other favorite series, in the English Gardens, among the Verbascum Nigrum (Dark Mullein)... Don't you love it when I talk dirty! That's the name of that flower silly! It's my absolute favorite flower and if you have some in your garden that you need to thin out, please pretty PLEASE call me!

Oh, it's like I died and went to heaven!!!

See Shannon, a cloudy day is quite glorious!

Now these were shot at The Gates after the ceremony. Just beautiful!

The cake!

And my sweet, beautiful clients that were at the wedding:
left to right: Bobby and Dave, Chris & Tanya - yes the famous ones that refer EVERYONE to me! and Geraldine & Jay (Cheryl and Jay that is) who also refer everyone to me!

Now some details and make sure to read the credits for all of this hard work:
