When Monika and Mike hired me last year to do their upcoming August wedding, I was soooo thrilled!  Not only for the obvious reasons, like "they're gorgeous" and we're distant cousins, their wedding sounds soooo interesting, but also because they're going as green as possible with their wedding preparations!

If you follow (stalk) my blog, then you've already met them... Here they are planing their own flowers (yes!!!), and here's their engagement session... 

Now, here's the next thing that they're doing (or should I say, Monika is doing...).  She's making all of the centerpiece pottery pieces herself!!!  Isn't that amazing?

She emailed me the other day to tell me that she would be planting some of the veggies (that we'll be eating at the Reception - YUM!) but first she had to go to the pottery studio and finish making her pots!  Hulloooo!!!  Can I photograph that? was my answer!

So there I went and am I ever glad I did!  If only I were crafty enough (or at all!), this is definitely something I would be into!
