I know I always tell you that my clients are SOOOO in love, but I swear I don't need to even say anything this time.  The pictures tell the whole story!

Mark and Stephanie met each other years ago and started dating one day after Mark's brother's wedding.  He liked my work so much that he made sure to call me.  I dug up this oldie from Mike and Kathryn's wedding in 2005, where the boys are doing airband in the middle of the wheat field.  Mark is the first from the left.

He still looks the same but quite radiant and happy to be the one in the spotlight - and like his brother, he has a gorgeous (GORGEOUS!) fiance.  We could have been all done right after this first shot:

There were times when they completely forgot that I was there, so I had to call them back to the shoot once in a while...

Mark likes Dancing With The Stars... Obviously!

Thank you Mark and Stephanie for choosing me!  I can hardly wait!

From the day I met them in 2008, on a business trip to Scottsdale, AZ, I knew two things:

1. They would get married - for sure!

2. I wanted to be their photographer.

Well, what do you know.  Two years later, and here we are, getting ready for the big day, coming up on Sunday!  We were in Vegas together - on a business trip again - and took the opportunity to capture some engagement moments.  Courtney brought a sequin dress  that you can really only get away with wearing in Vegas - I was beside myself.

Thank you Courtney and Jon for taking some time out of your trip to let me capture these.  You are both beautiful and your lives together will be full of joy and appreciation!  You had me at sequin.

Here's some images:

I love how you guys interact:

Hello!!

Light!

Jon really wanted to do "The Tiger" from Austin Powers.  Who am I to say no?

This is the Courtney I love:

The architecture in Vegas is a sight for sore eyes:

But who's looking at buildings...

Love The Strip!

After dinner we went for a walk to The Bellagio to watch the water fountains and Courtney turned to me and asked me if I could take some shots in front of the fountain.  Could I!!!

The next day we went on a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon (more on that another day) and did a few more shots of the soon to be wed.

The beauty of that place is just amazing...

I love these shots.  These are the helicopters we took down there.

Can't wait till Sunday!

Jen emailed me a few weeks ago asking if we could put our differences aside no that the World Cup is over and get together to do their engagement pictures.  You see, it's not that we ever HAD differences, but the World Cup brings out the patriotic in all of us, immigrants or sons and daughters of immigrants... And the Portugal and Brazil game was just... well, never mind.

It's ok though, I love Jen, so it wasn't really that hard to put our differences aside...

We headed out to Lilac Resort which is where Joel and Jen met - they used to spend their summers there as kids and it brings back good memories.

Here's some of the images.  I'll just say that we had some sweeeeet light around 7:30pm and here's the images to prove it!

Please tell me it's ok to have a crush on your wedding couples.  I have a mini-crush on these two: so sweet and so in love and so very good looking!

They asked me to go out to their property in Headingley and bring mosquito spray!  I did and I swear I had to "refresh" the mosquito spray (not really, but just about!);  the skeeters were out with a vengeance but they were no match for Sharyn and Cary.

I'm excited for the wedding in September, guys.  It'll be absolutely beautiful!

Their dog was in on the fun...

Their backyard is beautiful!

Train tracks behind their property:

Thanks Sharyn and Cary for inviting me to your home.  Your wedding will be gorgeous!

They booked me so long ago, I forgot what they were like...  I forgot how much in love they are, and how absolutely super cute they are together.  Lindsay is a calm, sweet soul and Kris is a very happy man to have her by his side.  You can just feel it!

I'm very happy that I'll be spending your wedding day with you guys!  But for now, enjoy the images!

This one here is one of my absolute favorites.  Gus is thrown into the mix, and believe it or not, he's just a puppy, so he goes a little crazy!

The timing couldn't have been more perfect for the sweet light and delicious lens flare.

Who said dandelions aren't pretty?

All the best in your preparation, guys!  Your wedding will be beautiful!

The first thing Phuong said to me after he looked in the back of my camera for the first time yesterday was: "Wow, you're surely not Uncle Bob!"

No, Uncle Bob I'm surely not!

I remember when I first met these two lovely people a year ago, and how excited we were to have found each other!  Wedding Photography is such a personal thing and when you have good chemistry, it just makes it all worthwhile!

Phuong and Jin wanted to be photographed in a historical place like Chinatown and I also processed their images accordingly.  On to the images!

I love the look of this place.  So timeless.

Phuong and Jin were a little nervous but quickly let it all go and had fun!

 Gorgeous girl!

Hello shoes!

Cherry Blossom season in one of my favorites!

And you never know when you'll find a really neat set of vines, low by an underground parkade...

Lovely!

Phuong and Jin, I'm honoured that you chose me to photograph your wedding and I can hardly wait for the day!  Oh, and Phuong, don't forget to come on down to my place for the Brazil games in June!  I got an extra jersey for you!

A couple of years ago I met Adam while sharing workspace with the fabulous Yoko Chapman.  He would come in and fix all of her printing issues, while telling us his great adventures.  We always liked "Adam" days.  He was always so animated, knowledgeable and fun to hang out with.  Not to mention incredibly cute! Hello!

Well, during one of these visits we learned that Mr Printer Fixer had plans for the very near future, and these plans included a gorgeous young lady called Jodi, some tropical destination and an engagement ring.

I don't have to tell you that when I found out that I was also part of this plan - not the tropical destination part - but the actual wedding day part, I was super excited.

Adam, I'm glad that you and Jodi have asked me to photograph you two on your wedding day.  It'll be gorgeous and glorious and we'll definitely ROCK it!  Not quite rockin' in like GNR, but close!

Here's a couple of shots.  The bottom one is the GNR T-shirts.  Apparently their friends find it funny that they like the band... I don't think it's funny, but ok.

If you want to see more of the session, please join me on my Facebook Fan Page.  While you're there make sure to add me as your friend, join my group, sing my song, you get the point.  Click here

Oh, they're in love and sooo gorgeous!

I know you think I say that to everyone. But aren't they?

Sylvie lives out in St Pierre and I was so happy when she told me that she wanted to do her engagement pictures out there.  I love going to new places, specially out in the country, in the fall.  Lucky for them we're having a long, warm fall... And lucky for me, they're photogenic and amazing to work with.

Thanks guys, can't wait till the wedding!

I call these "Dancing in the Light"...

Chris was bent on swinging higher than Sylvie...  Sometimes I got a shot like this:

But most of the shots were like this: ;)

Technically, this wasn't in Winnipeg.  Just outside Winnipeg, past Headingley, in a gorgeous park with trails and trees and water...

I'm such a romantic.  But so are these two!  Leanora and Jared chose me to photograph their wedding next year and I'm thinking we'll have a blast and as a bonus end up with amazing images!  Leanora HAS to be a supermodel in her spare time... I'm sure of it!  And Jared, though you're not so bad yourself, you are definitely one lucky man!

There's been a serious surge of very gorgeous people in my studio!  I know you're saying that I ALWAYS say that, but look!!!  Again!

When she first walked in, tall, and absolutely gorgeous, I thought to myself, there better be a very gorgeous man on the other end of this engagement!  I met him the following week and voila!  He's gorgeous too!

Though we didn't have a sunny day, the fall leaves seemed to have yellowed with super incredibly intensity overnight!

It's just as well... the leaves were no match for these bright sunshiny faces!

Ooooh, the love!

Aren't these amazing?  The next two just blew me away... So romantic!

Thank you Jennifer and Dave, for choosing me!  Can't wait till April!
